ENERGY NAMED NEW D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE

The NBA announced today that the reigning D-League champion Iowa Energy will now be the Hornets D-League affiliate. The previous affiliate, the New Mexico Thunderbirds, were purchased by the Cleveland Cavaliers and moved to Canton, OH. The Energy, located in Des Moines, will also serve as the affiliate of the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
