SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Hornets and New Orleans.com “Total Experience” Online SWEEPSTAKES starts on January 4, 2012 at 12:00AM CT and ends at February 15th, 2012 at 11:59PM CT (the "Sweepstakes Period").
TO ENTER: Online: Entry is available online for free during the Sweepstakes Period by visiting www.nba.com/hornets/contests/. Entrants will be asked to follow the instructions online in order to enter the sweepstakes. By submitting your contact phone number and/or email address, you grant permission to be contacted by Sponsor or Administrator via phone and/or email. All online entries must be received by 11:59PM CT on 2/15/12 to be eligible for the prizes.
Limit 1 entry per day (per person, per mobile telephone number, per contact phone number and/or email address) regardless of method of entry.
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to all persons residing within 75 miles of the New Orleans Arena (New Orleans, LA, 70113), who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and directors of the National Basketball Association ("NBA") and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, owners, employees and agents (collectively, “NBA Entities”), the New Orleans Hornets and New Orleans.com (“Sponsors”), and each of their parent, subsidiary companies, affiliates, divisions, franchisees, representatives, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, distributors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, each of the participating wireless carriers and members of their immediate families (defined for these purposes as including spouse, parents, children, and siblings and each of their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
By submitting your e-mail address and/or Mobile Telephone Number (“MTN”) all entrants grant permission to be contacted by the New Orleans Hornets via e-mail and/or MTN regarding information and offers (“opt-in”).
RANDOM DRAWING: One randomly selected winner will receive the prize package detailed below. The random computerized drawing necessary to determine the winner will be conducted by the New Orleans Hornets, whose decisions will be final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The New Orleans Hornets will notify the winner by phone call and/or email. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: One (1) prize package will be awarded to one (1) winner, which will consist (2) courtside tickets to a Hornets game, dinner for (2) to Cochon or Herbsaint Restaurant, one hotel room for a (2) night stay at hotel – TBD. Approximate retail value of the prize package is $1,200.
All federal, Louisiana state and local laws and regulations apply. All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility. If a potential winner does not respond within 2 days of notification, or there is a return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. Upon disqualification, no further compensation will be given.
RESTRICTIONS: Winner may make no substitution or transfer of prizes and prizes are not exchangeable for cash. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner.

In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a mobile telephone number (MTN)/email address by a telephone company, wireless service provider, Internet access provider, Internet service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses, telephone numbers or wireless phone numbers for the telephone exchange associated with the submitted telephone number/email address or the domain associated with the submitted telephone, as applicable. Potential winners may be requested to provide Sponsors with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the MTN or contact phone number and/or email address associated with the winning entry.
